Customer Information is an important asset for IKEA, and needs to be governed and maintained like any other asset such as property, co-workers or financial assets. Customer Information Management (CIM) focuses on ensuring legal compliance and making the relevant customer information available at the right time, in the right format and to the right users and systems.
About the role
As a Data Steward with focus on the Data Quality (DQ) Issues you will play an active role in establishing Customer Information Management (CIM) within IKEA and support the realisation of the roadmap towards a single view of our customers working in our global Customer Relation organisation. You will be responsible for the Data Quality Issue Management and management of the DQ principles and business rules.
You will also manage the DQ metrics and targets. An important mission is to measure, improve and monitor the DQ and track business benefits from the results. You will ensure a high level of customer data quality across the IKEA organisation, both by the management and monitoring of data quality, but also by support from the customer information processes throughout the information lifecycle.
You will work closely with other parts of the organisation on global as well as on local level in order to secure that data management requirements are appropriately implemented across IKEA in a consistent manner. Further more you will support in projects that touch your area of responsible and co-operate with subject matter expertise as well as being a stakeholder in information related projects.
To be successful in your role you will have:
A passion for and in depth knowledge of the materiality for data and the impact of insufficient data quality. You have minimum of three years of combined experience and knowledge of data governance, data management and data quality. You are experienced of working with operational data management, on a global or local level and have a sound knowledge of the requirements of the information policies, standards and rules
As a person we believe that you have strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to understand business and technical functions. You also have the ability to process quickly and to assess impact. You know how to analyse and prioritise information on all levels to formulate relevant and accurate business requirements and definitions. We think that you like to work independently as well as within a team. Interacting with a diverse range of people comes very natural to you. You are highly organized and detail oriented and can demonstrate success in managing multiple concurrent activities and maintaining timelines.
This is a permanent position. You will be employed by IKEA Retail Services AB, based in Helsingborg initially but the place of employment will change to Malmö sometime in autumn 2015.
