Within IEB we are looking for two talented SAP Data Stewards to our project who can contribute to the success of the IEB program.
As an IEB data steward, you will work operationally, with daily master data maintenance and support of the master data in the Scania IEB SAP MDG solution. This work is organized in a team of individuals having a domain responsibility. This is a key role in order to ensure smoothly running processes and good data quality on the SAP platform. The focus is on daily maintenance, based on requests coming from Scania business. Requests can be for single updates or mass updates. You will as well act on approved Master Data quality initiatives (typically coming from Scania Information Domain Councils), in collaboration with Scania information owners and information responsible to execute mass data loads and updates, improve data quality and to safeguard data quality.
The type of activities that you will drive and contribute to are exemplified by;
• Maintain Master Data records; to perform CRUD (create, read, update, delete) operations, with speed throughout the entire Master Data lifecycle.
• Enrich Master Data records with local/global data.
• Approve and release data for use in business processes.
• Prepare and execute data loading, using the tools provided by IEB program.
• Act as guardian of data quality, within your domain.
• Continuous improvement of master data governance processes, within your domain.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant area or equivalent working experience.
• Have a good understanding of the impact of Master Data objects mainly material master, business partner (supplier and customer) in SAP is required
• Knowledge and experience in one or more existing Scania applications, would be valuable, like OAS, PackIT, SSIP or eBS is a plus
• Knowledge about business processes within a domain such as. Purchasing, Production and Logistics, Finance or Order to Cash, is a plus
• Knowledge and experience working with data types, extraction, transformation and loading is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience working with SAP MDG (Master data Governance) tools is a requirement
• Excellent communication skills with a strong business focus and business process understanding.
• Fluent in English, verbally and written.
