The purpose of this role is to lead data initiatives, developing strategic insights, and drive continuous improvement in digital performance. To guide strategic decision-making and act as a central hub for understanding & Other Stories digital business performance. This role is an important stakeholder for the full organization, for example Digital marketing, Merchandising, controlling and local E-com teams, CRO and Web analyst community at H&M and the portfolio brands.
Main tasks & responsibilities:
As a Data Strategist & Web Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's data-driven strategy and optimizing online experiences. This position requires a seasoned professional with expertise in both data strategy and web analytics.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify business opportunities and challenges.
Design and execute initiatives to enhance data collection, storage, and utilization, including the extraction and visualization of big data from various sources.
Merge data from diverse sources to provide a comprehensive view of customer behavior and online performance. Utilize data insights to drive website optimization strategies, enhance user experiences, and support strategic decision-making.
Structure, develop, and communicate insights-driven analyses, proactively providing recommendations to improve commercial performance.
Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization. Conduct analysis, particularly focusing on online performance and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) on a global scale. Communicate insights effectively to the entire organization.
Develop dashboards for monitoring and tracking business performance, strengthening sales markets, and optimizing online performance based on commercial KPIs and customer experience.
Lead and manage global A/B testing initiatives, shaping the strategic framework for implementation to drive data-informed decision-making across the organization.
Qualifications
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s or relevant for us degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science).
Professional Experience:
Proven experience (5 years) in data strategy development and web analytics.
Data Management and Analytics:
Knowledge of data governance and compliance.
Expertise in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
Proven experience in data integration, analysis, and visualization.
Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL).
Understanding of big data technologies and cloud platforms.
Analytical Skills:
Experience with machine learning and predictive analytics.
Leadership and Communication:
Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to demonstrate a strong business sense and understanding of drivers of growth and commercial performance.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Ability to effectively work with others, build on their knowledge, and coordinate collaborative efforts.
Effective facilitation of meetings.
Advantageous Competency:
Advantage if candidate has UX experience.
Additional Information
This is a fixed contract (2 years) with possibility of extension, starting as soon as possible and is based at &Other Stories Head Office (Kungsholmstorg 5) in Stockholm, Sweden.
