We at MODIS are currently looking for a Data Visualization Expert for a position in Gothenburg!

 

About the role

The team will work towards different groups within and associated with connected technologies product development organization. Rather than focus on internal development processes and tools this groups top priority is to focus on the customer touchpoints, especially relating to areas such as automation, data visualization (dashboards), ordering, license etc. always keeping the customer journey and experience in mind within the organizational value stream.

The team will design, develop, maintain and deploy different processes and tools that are needed to operationally support the business.

 

Tasks:

• Work within a team of like-minded professionals to plan, deploy, and maintain critical business applications and processes.
• Develop and shape data (example SQL), experience in database concepts and knowledge of dimensional modeling
• Facilitate discussions with business users to surface and prioritize requirement and value of the visualization.
• Actively ensure that the visualizations can be used for the organization to take more data driven actions
• Actively work with stakeholders to identify key metrics and KPIs.
• Create data visualizations using Power BI
• Prepare documentation of technical requirements and data definitions

 

Requirements:

• 3+ years working with BI development experience – Power BI preferred
• Advanced skills in building dashboards and data visualizations
• Proficient with developing tabular and multidimensional models
• Extensive SQL Server experience (Azure SQL a plus)
• Experience with ETL processing, data transformation and data modelling techniques
• Experience of CI/CD pipelines
• Fluent in English
