Swegon is building a global BI solution for the group. This work is carried out cross-functionally and the purpose is to strengthen our analytical and reporting capacity. The company has several source systems that feed into a central data warehouse. Information from the data warehouse is used for decision-making in all areas of the business, with an initial emphasis on financial analyses.

Position description

We are looking for an experienced developer of ETL flows, data warehouses and reports. You should understand and be interested in financial reporting and consolidation. However, your focus will be on the technical development of Swegon's complete BI solution. You are employed by Group IT, but you will work in the same team as controllers and other stakeholders. Since you have a leading role in development, it is important that you know what is required of a global BI solution.

You will be responsible for:


• Overall technical BI solution and architecture
• Translating report requirements into data requirements
• Understand what integrations are needed to retrieve the data
• To implement integrations and ETL
• The structure of the data warehouse in SQL Server
• Database performance, in consultation with the IT Infrastructure department and DBA
• Manage permissions in data warehouse and Power BI
• Support the implementation of new reports
• Assist in data validation
• Second line support for advanced users

 Your profile

You are probably a developer with an interest in reporting and analysis, or an analyst from turned developer. You are interested in establishing a new area within a growing global company and you are excited about the prospects of Business Intelligence. You know how to build a BI solution from start to finish and want to get involved in all of its aspects.

 Requirements:


• Experience in building data warehouses and ETL flows
• Experience in building reports from data warehouses
• Experience in SQL Server, performance and permissions
• Experience in integration with ERP systems
• Knowledge of Microsoft's various BI tools, such as T-SQL, Power BI, SSIS, SSAS
• Good Swedish and English
• Excellent analytical skills; ability to understand and interpret results and trends within Business Intelligence

Preferably you have experience in:


• Operational reporting within a global company
• Financial consolidation within a global company
