Data Warehouse Coordinator/Developer

Sandvik Mining and Construction, SMC, CIO Office has a global responsibility for IT within SMC, and now require a Data Warehouse Coordinator/Developer to strengthen the Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse function (BI/DW).Key performance areas As the Data Warehouse Coordinator/Developer you will be working with BI/DW initiatives and solutions within Sandvik Mining and Construction.This involves development, maintenance and coordination in close cooperation with the business and with different IT suppliers.Your main tasks are to: - Develop analytical solutions using QlikView.- Support the organization in the delivery of BI/DW solutions by organizing and managing development, utilizing external resources and suppliers.- Act as contact person to both business and IT suppliers for the delivery of solutions and maintenance.- Together with BI/IT Manager propose solutions and required process/work steps to achieve desired results.- Continuously use, communicate and develop Sandvik Mining and Construction BI infrastructure and framework.- Act proactively and maintain a dialogue with business representatives in order to understand their challenges and priorities.The position is based at Sandvik Mining and Construction IT Sandviken, Sweden.Your profile The preferred candidate has a university degree, or equivalent IT background.You are analytical and organized, have a high level of initiative, drive and determination to achieve goals and targets.We merit candidates with experience from working with development and development specifications as well as previous experience of BI and DW.You have Project Management or coordination skills, are a team player and fluent in English.Annual sales 2007 amounted to about SEK 33,100 M, with approximately 15,200 employees
