Database Administrator

DataCenter Services department is looking for a talented Database Administrator to join us on an exciting journey toward Tele2's vision, which is to be the smartest telco in the world, creating a society of unlimited possibilities!

Role description:
Your mission will be to provide databases as a service to our stakeholder. You will work closely with the both Infrastructure Engineers and Software Developers helping to build and operate company’s mission critical systems.
You should feel comfortable working both independent and in groups, both online and local. You take initiative and collaborate well within team and with other colleagues - a team player! You adapt to change and are eager to learn new technologies.


As a person you have the ability to make your own decisions and drive your work forward. You also have an analytical ability, and you are both careful and persistent in your work.

Responsibilities include:
Life Cycle Management
Identity Access Management
Backup and Recovery
Performance Tuning
Automation development
On-call duty


Requirements:
Expert on database administration. One of Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL
Linux shell or PowerShell scripting
Ansible
Fluent in English, both written and spoken



Qualifying/advantageous:
Working experience with more than one RDBMS
Oracle engineered systems administration
Networker, Veeam
Docker, Kubernetes
Python for automation development
