Database Administrator to a global gaming company

Your weekday

You will be part of an awesome team of four highly experienced DBAs with more than 10+ years of database knowledge and experience among them. 

The environment is a high transaction 24/7 environment with peak loads over 100,000 transactions/sec and more than 1000 production databases. We are using the latest technology when it comes to database engines and infrastructure.



Some of your tasks in this role will be:

Troubleshooting and Performance OptimizationDeploying new releasesOperation and monitoring of high performance / HA environmentsMaintaining a 24/7 environmentAccess Control and MonitoringDatabase Backup and RecoveryOn-call service based on schedule

Who are you?

We believe that you have worked with databases for some years and have experience from working with big IT Enviroments, preferably within a high transaction area. You are a communicative teamplayer and love the opportunity to learn new things every day!

We think that you have experience within:

 PostgreSQL or cockroachdbKubernetes LinuxTerraform or similar DB in cloud

Not essential but a big bonus is if you have knowledge about:

SQL ServerWindows clusteringKnowledge Sharing
