Database Engineer Stockholm

We are in need of a Database engineer who has good knowledge of Oracle database Architecture and Components.

Responsibilities
As a Database Engineer the main tasks are to enhance and support our development, verification and production database environments. You will be responsible for configuration, upgrading, administrating, monitoring, troubleshooting, cloning, patching, backup and restore of Oracle Objects.

You are responsible for reviewing application(Unica) databases, identify performance bottlenecks and fixing those.

A key success factor is that you have solid Oracle DBA skills and previous experience in performance tuning in business critical systems.

Qualifications
Skills


Good knowledge on Oracle database Architecture and Components.
Experience in all routine DBA tasks including health checks, troubleshooting issues and installations.
Knowledge of how to prepare and present statistical information for internal and external use.
Good knowledge of PLSQL and SQL
Knowledge of traces, tkprof and find poorly performing SQL, profiling, rewrite poorly performing SQL.
Knowledge of oracle database wait events, Database and Application parameters
Ability to fine tune the concurrent processing in a large environment.
Good knowledge of OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager)
Good experience of schema design & performance tuning. Expert on query optimization.
Good knowledge for Unix shell scripting.
Knowledge and manage database Reports, Visualizations and Dashboards.
Knowledge of automation for repeating database tasks
Can work independent and take initiatives
Taking initiatives - come up with suggestion and solutions
Good in cooperation and communication


Nice to have skills


Knowledge on GCP (primary BigQuery)
Knowledge of Campaigning tools like for example UNICA
Knowledge of bigdata databases like Hive/Hbase and Impala
Agile principles and WoW
