About the position
For our close-knit team in Kiruna, we are looking for someone who will focus on data management to support our mine geology team. Your main work will be done in acQuire, Excel, IMDex Hub, Deswik (CAD) and Leapfrog. Knowledge and experience using these programs or similar would be beneficial to the position. As a database geologist, you collaborate with other geologists on our team to manage data related to drill planning, drillhole validation and QAQC of geological data. You will be a strategic resource for the mine geology team where cooperation with other groups in the mine is an important part of the work.

Your qualifications

Together with our mine geologists, you will have a key role and special responsibility for collecting and managing the mine's geological data.

Your skills and competencies:
·        College or university degree in geology.
·        Minimum 2 years geology experience.
·        Familiarity with drilling and mining processes.
·        Experience managing large amounts of data and working in databases.
·        Highly organized individual with a problem-solving mindset.
·        Strong communicator able to balance the needs of different data users.
·        Comfortable working in English; basic knowledge of the Swedish language is meritorious (or eager to learn!).
·        Driving license B.
