Description

The administrator role for SQL Server involves a varied everyday life with great personal responsibility. Together with the development teams and management teams, you support in issues around the platform.

This can be advice before establishing infrastructure for new systems, support for upgrades, measurement and optimization of performance and database programming.

The technical operation is mostly in own premises, but a long-term work is underway with relocated services to cloud-based infrastructure.

Work tasks:

- Ongoing advice and tangible support to delivery teams regarding index strategies and performance optimization in the data warehouse.
- Platform rollout
- Test set
- Drive implementation of new tools and processes around these.
- Act as a platform setter against platform operations for rolling out upgrades.


Mandatory competence and experience:

- Microsoft SQL Server (versions 2012, 2016, 2019)
- Microsoft server environment.
- Powershell
- Automation of SQL server functions and ancillary services. (Users, infrastructure)
- Work in an agile context, preferably with experience of SAFe
