Datawarehouse and BI Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience of PowerBI and Fabric administration and in developing and managing data warehouses.

About the role:  

This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, optimizing data pipelines, and developing insightful reports and dashboards. Collaboration is key, you'll work closely with data analysts, business users, and stakeholders to deliver effective BI solutions while actively participating in Scrum practices. 

You'll be responsible for developing and administrating our PowerBI and Fabric environment, ensuring that governance standards are implemented and maintained whilst ensuring security and performance. 

You'll design, develop, and maintain Snowflake data warehouses, implement data warehousing solutions using Kimball methodologies, and optimize ETL processes with Matillion. 

About you 

We value continuous improvement, and we believe that you prefer to work in a fast-paced environment, where you actively contribute to process 

enhancements. You are curious and would like to keep up to date with the latest BI and data warehousing technologies. 

Your strong SQL skills will come in handy, as you'll write and optimize advanced queries, develop stored procedures, and ensure data quality across various databases. 

Qualifications and experience:  
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. 

* Experience with Fabric and Power BI (both development and administration). 

*  Several years of experience in data warehousing and BI development. 

* Strong understanding of Kimball data warehousing methodologies. 

* Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
