ABOUT THE JOB
As a Data Warehouse Specialist at Eltel you will create, design, build and maintain solutions in our data platforms in order to meet our business‘ needs. A central part of your job is to work with data warehousing solution and BI tools that are used within Eltel You will work in an international context serving Eltel´s business in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Poland, Germany Lithuania and Norway. Eltel is right now in an exciting phase, Transitioning from on prem to cloud solutions in multiple areas, including BI, and working with cloud based BI and Data warehousing solutions is the chosen way forward You will build and maintain relationships with internal customers from different departments, however stakeholders within finance and accounting will be your main contacts. You will be a part of the Business Intelligence team consisting of 5 highly skilled team members located in Sweden, Norway and Finland. Your will report to Team Lead for BI and Integrations Jenni Koskinen who is located in Bromma Sweden.

We believe you have a broad technical understanding with a relevant experience working in databases and especially SQL databases. To succeed in this role, we think you have good analytical skills with the ability to detect patterns, interpret data and integrate new information. Fundamental to thrive in our organization is having a pragmatic “can-do” personality with a hands-on mindset.

Being service minded is key in this role, we believe you enjoy working closely with operations, understanding the needs of others. Moreover, you are a skilled communicator who enjoys building and maintaining relationships with colleagues and internal customers.

REQUIREMENTS

- Experience working in SQL, making complex queries with large amounts of data
- Broad technical understanding and experience of data models
- Administration within databases and making sure the database and its related applications operates functionally and efficiently.
- Fluency in English, written and verbal


Meritorious:

- Experience in data warehouse SQL database solutions
- Knowledge in Azure, AWS or GCP
- Knowledge in QlikSense, Power BI, Tableau or Qlik View
- Fluency in Swedish, written and verbal
- Knowledge in SSIS or other integration service/platform like solutions
- Data vault modelling
