Are you interested in Db2? We are now looking for an experienced Db2 Infrastructure engineer who wants to be a part of our journey towards an even more stable and modernized Db2

- Together with the Db2-team, APO (Agile Product Owner) and Scrum Master continuously work with improvement activities to keep Db2 stable and compliant

What is needed in this role:
- +10 years of Db2 z/OS experience, including system programmer
- Ability to drive your own work tasks, as well as your own development
- A proven ability of troubleshooting, solving complex problems and working independently on a large Mainframe installation
- Good understanding of the software management process (design, install, test, maintain)
- Maintain vendor software on the mainframe, utilizing vendor and other tools as required
- Install, upgrade, maintenance, and technical support of Db2 z/OS and Db2 tools with SMP/E
- Good knowledge of Db2 z/OS security to identify and remediate any security exposures
- Experience working with vendors in technical supports, opening tickets, troubleshooting and provide diagnostics
- Analyzing system parameters(zparm), traces and study DB2 performance reports like Accounting, Statistics, Performance etc.
- Familiar with Buffer Pools, RID Pool, Sort pool, EDM pool
- Hands-on experience with Data-Sharing, Sysplex environments and Coupling Facility structure maintenance
- Familiar with Db2 tools such as Optim, DB2 Administration Tool, HPU, DB2 Log Analysis Tool, DB2 Query Monitor, DB2 Automation Tool or similar ones
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Being fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Keep Db2 service up 24/7; on-call is part of this role
