DBA to Exeger

Then keep reading! We are now hiring a skilled DBA to join us at our plant in central Stockholm.

As a DBA you will work closely with colleagues from different departments and will be focusing on the design, development and delivery of new and existing product features to ensure system consistency.

The work will include management and maintenance of the organizational databases, such as Microsoft SQL and PostgreSQL, of medium to high complexity. You will also be the technology specialist within a team in the full lifecycle of all company software, including, but not limited to design, development, testing, trouble shooting and maintenance.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability with focus on data access and storage.


- Evaluate data storage options for new and existing application components.


- Minimise database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses


- Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users


- Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards


- Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity


- Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required.

To thrive in this role, you have solid experience from development, maintenance and operation of organizational databases. You have been working hands on with Microsoft SQL for some time and feel confident with this. System governance experience will be meritorious but not a requirement. Communication and organization skills are keys for this position, along with a focus on finding the best solution for each task.
