The Umea site is looking for a DBS Leader.
Reporting to the Site DBS Leader the Danaher Business System Leader (DBSL) is responsible for promoting and facilitating the successful implementation of DBS, allowing the site to meet their Policy Deployment (PD) and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets.
What you’ll do
The DBS leader will support all levels of associates with DBS across the site by supporting initiatives that improve business result to meet the requirements of our customers. They facilitate Kaizen events to drive change in a fast paced and "ever changing" environment leveraging their strong interpersonal, professional, and collaborative skills. They have an ability to work with associates at all levels, utilizing a very "hands on", Gemba based approach to applying and teaching DBS.
Support Kaizen events by being active in supporting team leaders with planning, facilitation and to develop and support sustainment plans
Lead deployment of DBS tools, kaizen leadership and kaizen culture by supporting associates and leadership with training and coaching
Support leadership to install and improve DBS fundamentals within key processes aligned with the sites strategic plans and KPI targets
Challenge cross-functional teams to drive deeper understanding to produce pragmatic DBS-based solutions that sustain. Applies 'Systemic-thinking,' beyond just local solutions.
Benchmark and drive “Best Practices” across the business and partner with other Danaher Operating Companies



Who you are
Hands on experience with Lean/DBS implementation demonstrating sustained results
Experience with leading and coaching cross-functional teams
Excellent verbal and written communication/ presentation skills in Swedish and English.
Strong interpersonal and communications as well as group facilitation skills, including public speaking and moderating.
Understanding and experience with how to both to drive sustainable change and be mindful of driving associate engagement at all levels in the organization
Have a strong Gemba orientation (spend time and inspire change at the ‘real place’ – where the ‘value happens’).
A degree in Manufacturing, Process, Logistics, Industrial engineering, or equivalent experience with Lean, Process development or Leadership can be a benefit.
