We are currently looking for a DC/Warehouse Design Manager to join the Logistic team in Region North Europe.
As a DC/Warehouse Manager, you are managing a team of 1000 employees with 8 direct reports that represents HR, controlling, operations, MHE (Material Handling Equipment), IT, Safety and Project. Your responsibility is to best tailor warehouse capabilities, ensure future business needs as well as cost and service requirements, for all H&M connected brands and channels. Our 24/7 online warehouse in Borås will have an exiting expansion journey in the coming years.
Responsibilities:
Accountable to ensure strong logistics expertise across functional processes and warehouse system relevance.
Lead definition of global operating standards across DCs/Warehouses and create frameworks for standard approaches to DC/Warehouse design and implementations.
Support in detailed DC/warehouse design and technical specifics in collaboration with stakeholders
Participate in development forums and communicate improvements to support Logistics Strategy.
Staff responsibility, close and on-site collaboration with management team, unions, and internal stakeholders.
Lead and implement our business strategy and vision together with H&M values.

Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of experience in logistics preferably from a matrix organization.
Demonstrated knowledge and expertise from DC/Warehouse design and operational excellence for creating functional processes & specifications.
Demonstrated track record of strong understanding of both operational as-is and target processes to ensure feasibility.
Profound communication & coordinating skills and a teamwork mindset.
Knowledge in creating and establishing frameworks for global standards and best practice as well as ability in creating DC/Warehouse operating concepts.
Well documented experience in creating business case to drive successful improvements.
Interest in sustainable maintenance, future trends and innovation for highly automatic warehouses.
You feel comfortable in and have had previous experience of change management.

Ability to bring others onboard through inspiring, clear and inclusive communication.
Promote the importance of changes to improve our business.
Highly collaborative and open minded with a strong ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
Strong planning and prioritizing skills.
5+ years of leadership experience.
Focus on improving processes through quality management.
Values teamwork and empowerment in the management team.

Additional Information
This is a full-time position with placement in Borås. Some travel will be required for the position. You will become part of the logistics team in North Europe and report to regional manager.
