Volvo Penta is looking for a Dealer Development Manager within Industrial Business Unit that is an openminded team player who enjoys creating and working in global teams, that translate long term strategies into actions and roadmaps using the appropriate resources delivering on time.
Being closer to the customer to secure uptime and the right support means that we need to find and nurture those dealers who can support the customer whenever and wherever there is a need.
Finding the right balance to integrate Volvo Pentas Dealer network with the OEM distribution channel will also be key in how we can secure the right skills in the right place at the right time
To assure the transition towards a specialized network and deliver a world class experience, Industrial Business Unit is now recruiting a Dealer Development Manager who shall develop our Industrial network to be world leading in sync with the Industrial Strategic Areas through our Market Unites and Importer Business. The role will report to Director Service Market Development Industrial.




Main Responsibilities
As Dealer Development Manager, you will be overall responsible for the development and performance of the Industrial Dealer network including Dealer coverage and OEM Dealer integration in applicable markets
Responsibility of quality assuring that all Dealers perform according to IBU Business Partner requirements and development of set standards to fit IBU
Be the voice of the Industrial Business Unit in central projects driven by GP&S and Process and IT organizations. Develop the Service Market organization to continuously improve operations and performance in set processes and new areas of development toward end customers and Business Partner network
Identify and prioritize areas of improvement and develop the tools (competence, system, processes) to reach set customer satisfaction targets. Set strategy to ensure improvement plans based on Volvo Penta Dealer Survey results
Have a close cooperation with central functions, business units, market units and importer business
Drive development of follow up tools for the Dealer network
Drive and monitor Incentive and Performance models within Dealer development
Overall responsibility for Business Partner License



About you:
Qualifications and personal skills for the Dealer Development role are advantages in this recruitment, but the main emphasis in this recruitment will be on personal suitability for the role.
Commercial and /or technical education (Bachelor of Science or equivalent)
Experience of Dealer/OEM/Business Partner way-of-working
Experience from working in an international multi-cultural environment and an open mindset
Ability to drive and mange change management
Strong networking skills working effectively across organization and to build enduring relationships
Excellent communication and presentation skills in Swedish and English are required. Knowledge in other languages is an advantage
Ability to travel
