The Software Verification team is a group of dedicated engineers who work with C/C++, LabVIEW, and Java in a highly automated test environment.Job description The work consists of writing test specifications on a protocol level, implement test instructions in test environments, execute test cases and identify problems.The tester is expected to point out the origin of the problem: handset, test environment core spec etc and to be able to communicate the problem to the design department.The work is performed in projects and is mainly to test functionality within the WCMDA and GSM area.Most of the work is performed in teams with close cooperation with the design department and is lead by a test coordinator who plans the project work.Some travelling may be required to perform testing with network vendors.The tester is expected to deliver test specifications of good quality and implemented test cases that are testing expected sequence.The test cases should to a large extent be automated so that they can be incorporated to the regression test suite.The tester should deliver test reports to point out status of the testing and the quality of the handset.Your background Formal education needed is M.Sc.in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Physics or equivalent educational background.Additional to this we think that you might have some experience of working with similar tasks but it is also possible that you are newly graduated and that you have done your master thesis in a relevant area.If you also have one or more of the below requested experiences this will be further qualifying and make you even more interesting to us: - Test development and test procedures - WCDMA or GSM air interface and protocol - Excellent interpersonal and cooperation skills - Good planning, tracking and documentation abilities - Well organized and structured in your work - Good communication skills in English - Flexible and having the ability to prioritize.
