JOB DESCRIPTION As a WCDMA Layer1 Test Engineer, you will be responsible for testing the WCDMA Layer1 design.You will test functionality as well as performance and the work will among other tasks involve writing test specifications, design test scripts, work with protocols within the area of certification or development.Furthermore, you will be involved in executing the tests, trouble-shooting or documenting test results in test reports when required. Since many of the projects are done in close collaboration with our customers and operators you will work in an international environment that requires that you are confident using English verbally as well as writing. The work also requires that you have the ability to explain problems and issues in a clear and logical way to other project members and managers.You also must have the ability to work, in a team or independetly, in a structured way following established processes and methods outlined by the line organization. YOUR BACKGROUND Formal education needed is M.Sc.in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent educational background.
