About this opportunity
We are looking for a highly driven and skilled Marketing Manager to be accountable for developing, anchoring and maintaining the strategic marketing plan for the Dedicated Networks portfolio area in close cooperation with the product management, business development and sales team that supports the positioning and sales ambitions of the portfolio with a 1-3 year horizon towards external and internal stakeholders.
The position reports to Head of Business Development and Product Marketing in Dedicated Networks and will work closely with the Dedicated Networks business development team, the campaign manager as well as the wider M&C community.

Business Area Technologies and New Business are tasked with seeking new profitable growth for Ericsson alongside our traditional core business, by building on our technologies and skills in relevant growth areas. The starting point for our growth strategy is the conviction that 5G and IoT, in combination with developments in technology and society that enable digitalization, will change the way we work and live. At the same time, technologies such as AI, VR/AR, and edge computing are quickly moving from slogans to reality.
Key responsibilities
Supporting and maintaining the strategic marketing plan for the Dedicated Networks portfolio area
Drive and coordinate Dedicated Networks presence in events, through the creation and implementation of the messaging framework, marketing assets, engaging with partners, and supporting the development of demos.
Creating and implementing the narrative and overall messaging of the business unit and selected industry verticals to the enterprise and service provider target audiences
Developing and implementing deep insights and opinions for key topics and pain-points the portfolio area addresses
The role is accountable for the result of the marketing activities in OKR’s set together with the portfolio area, supporting the sales ambition for the area
This position is a key interface towards the other Business Area’s as well as Group Function and Market Areas for the ‘5G for industries’ topic.
The Marketing Manager will report to the Head of Business Development and Product Marketing in Dedicated Networks.
Key qualifications
Education: University degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or equivalent training/experience plus 5+ years related work experience
Domain knowledge of “Smart Industries” (i.e. industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, mining) and as well as an understanding of telecom industry, and digital transformation for industries is preferred
Experience in building and managing marketing programs, proven project management skills with result-oriented performance tracking
Strong stakeholder management and people skills, ability to balance fast-paced decisions and execution with collaboration and alignment
Ability to collaborate as part of a cross-functional team and also work independently in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
Understanding of digital marketing; good communication and presentation skills.
