What you’ll do
Driving the 3PL teams to meet defined KPI’s, business goals & objectives and Ensure stability in warehouse operations
Lead the discussions with Customer service teams to plan and execute shipments, identify improvement opportunities, and implement changes.
Aligns closely and strategically with cross functional teams & cross regional teams to improve fulfillment lead time, drive deflation, and reduce logistics risk, ensure operational excellence & compliance
Challenge existing ways of working using Lean tools to drive higher operational efficiencies.
Prepare & Report out on business reviews and drive solutions for the distribution of products.
Lead regular monthly, quarterly business reviews with stakeholders and logistics suppliers/partners
Lead and manage transportation cost, spend analysis, initial cost saving opportunities and drive implementations
Lead and manage regional war rooms with the customer service teams to ensure customer order fulfilment for critical and priority customer orders
Implementing and maintaining metrics, internal self-audits & processes to ensure adherence to customs, Cytiva export requirements.
Be the single point of contact for the logistics and transportation operations escalations and responsible for being audit ready (Quality, EHS, Security, Business Continuity audits)
Own and manage the transportation operations quality performance. Drive root cause analysis with 3PL quality teams and ensure no repeat defects
Drive continuous productivity & compliance improvements
Ensuring that operations requirements for AEO / CTPAT / equivalent certification are implemented and sustained

Who you are
Minimum of 6 years in Operational environment of Distribution, Logistics or Transportation Management
Solid communications and analytical skills
Proven ability to execute, multi-task, and deliver on commitments
Effective problem solving, root cause analytical skills.
Experience of improvement work using LEAN
Bachelor degree (or High School Diploma and a minimum of 6 operations experience), project management experience
