Role Summary:
The delivery fulfilment leader is expected to ensure on time delivery to our end customer & work towards a frictionless order fulfilment experience for our partners.
The person will be working with GSC and Customer service teams to resolve issues such as inventory shortage, packaging damages, documentation, while optimize delivery costs, shipping methods and delivery business metrics.
Essential Responsibilities:
Leading the effort to ensure a comprehensive approach to identify, manage, monitor, and control fulfilment risks
Understand and drive inventory turns improvement at the Distribution centers
Lead and manage inventory on-hand, not shipped from the Distribution centers
Recommend improvements to existing processes through Lean/Six Sigma tools & methodology.
Using existing tools and processes and recommend improvements
Coordinating external/supporting resources
Monitor deviations in warehouse processes and quality issues impacting on time fulfilment and drive corrective actions
Coach applicable teams on root cause resolution to eliminate repeat issues
Be the regional distribution focal point and develop a close collaboration with customer service, sales & service organizations.
Be an enabler for customer satisfaction!
Lead operating mechanisms with logistics operations and customer service teams for order execution and managing escalations
Review Ship dates and past due Ship dates with relevant stakeholders for customer order fulfillment
Report out on business & fulfilment reviews and drive solutions for the distribution of products.
Lead improvements for on-time delivery performance for end customer for assigned region
Candidates should note that this role will be in scope for the proposed transition of GE Biopharma to Danaher and will transfer to Danaher at close of this transaction.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.
Knowledge and understanding of International Trade Compliance identify report and resolve any trade compliance issues.
Undergraduate Degree/Bachelor Degree in Logistics, Materials or Supply Chain Management and significant experience in operational environment of export operations experience, or order management of freight forwarder operations experience or equivalent knowledge or experience
Significant experience in working with order fulfilment operations, planning
Sharp analytical skills, should have the ability to evaluate, analyse and present data
Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within the organization
Demonstrated collaboration, negotiation & conflict resolution skills.
Proven ability to execute, multi-task, and deliver on commitments
Experience working in a compliant supply chain
Practical and proactive approach to problem solving, root cause analytical skills to lead and influence others to drive change (cross functionally and globally).
Solid communication and analytical skills, including experience with communicating with others from different countries and cultures.
Solid experience of Oracle system (inventory/ warehouse/ planning user)
Preferred Qualifications:
Transportation & Customs business knowledge.
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, global team environment
Excellent interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to motivate, influence, and solve problems
Working experience from a GMP organization
