Core Platform Area (CPA) Software & Diagnostic is part of Technology, a new function within Volvo Group Digital & IT with a big stake in the Group’s digital transformation. Technology will modernize Volvo’s core digital backbone making it a platform for digital products.
CPA Software & Diagnostic are responsible for core IT solutions supporting end to end, from developing vehicle software to vehicle software deployment. Our digital talents develop capabilities and digital technologies to improve business performance and create value for the Group with speed and at scale.
We collaborate with other parts of the organization, both in Group IT, with TD/BAs and Group Functions. We foster an environment where ideas, thoughts and opinions can be shared. We are team players with clear common ambitions, and we win together.
This will be us - your new colleagues within ESW GOT team, part of the CPA Software & Diagnostic
Our ESW Configuration & Release-team, in Gothenburg is growing fast and ramping up with new roles and competences.
We are developing “in-house” ESW solutions used by the whole Volvo Group, specifically around SW documentation and configuration.
The team consist of highly skilled and senior Architects, Software Engineers, Business Analysts and Solution Leaders (Product Owners) with great Volvo domain knowledge and very experienced in SW Development, and agile WoW methods.
This is how you could make an impact
You will belong to a team, supporting our users in development, release and maintenance of embedded software using Volvo’s electrical architecture(s). Our developed services are also, to large extent, supporting the production and aftermarket areas with key information.
Recently we have started to build a new generation of cloud-based micro-services and we want you to onboard this journey as we now move ahead.
You will, as a Delivery Leader, be reporting to the Delivery Manager.
In this role you will…:
Be responsible for an agile Delivery-team, consisting of SW Engineers, Tester and BA’s.
Work closely with the team’s ’Product Owner’ and have the main responsibility of planning, executing and follow-up of deliveries from the team.
Be a Scrum Master, optimizing the deliveries/output from the team towards the business stakeholders.
Together with the team, deliver from a prioritized backlog including ‘New development’ as well as Maintenance and Support to users.
You will be a coordinator and a person to go to, related to your team’s deliveries and involved in different running internal IT- as well as business projects.
Share knowledge across the different delivery teams, by interacting with other Delivery Leaders in the group.
Secure that competences are the right ones for your team-members.
Set targets for team deliverables.
You will drive Change Management activities, innovations and secure that deliveries are aligned with company guidelines and security directives.
You will contribute to an acceleration of our DevSecOps-journey and continuously improve speed and agility.

Who are you?
First of all, you are a natural ”Leader”, with strong soft skills, having the ability to motivate a team and the ones you are working with.
You have experience in Software development or have good understanding of how SW is developed.
You are familiar working in DevOps - style.
Good communication and analytical skills.
Structured documentation.
Ability to delegate.
You enjoy being in an innovative environment where you have the possibility to form the future, rather than getting everything prepared on beforehand.
You will be a good fit if
You have 3+ years of managing teams.
You have a genuine interest in people and how we can inspire, motivate and coach the teams to do great things together?
