Role mission & context


As delivery leader in the Data Organization, you will have the Technical Lead responsibility.
You will be a member of the Agile Squad responsible for implementing Stories as per priorities, and following the development squads to streamline the execution of program priorities. Part of Data unit within Volvo Group Digital& IT, you will be a central player of Volvo Data transformation journey.


As a Delivery Leader you will need to understand, support and drive technical data ingestion & replication topics as you will be the preferred point of contact for any technical aspect around it.


Your main activities and responsibilities:


• Conduct the Team to accomplish data flows, focus on creating high-value increments that meet the agreed Definition of Done for both one-time and run-time deliveries
• Secure capacity planning, work prioritization and distribution within the team and coordinate team’s activities.
• Build open, honest and strong collaborative mindset with the team, external suppliers and stakeholders.
• Secure risk and issue management, follow up on results and act on deviations regarding the Delivery Plans.
• Initiate, drive/support and implement continuous improvement activities
• Establish guidelines and work instructions when applicable.
• Support Data Replication & Ingestion Manager in the assessment of team members, act as a mentor and coach for colleagues, give support, feedback and recognition related to delivery
• Be the go to person for expertise on the technologies related topics

Required competencies:


• Excellent communication skills
• Very good Fluent in English (Daily usage)
Good presentation skills/workshop facilitation experience
• Proven ability in solving difficult programming problem
• Ability to manage tasks, work in sprints (SAFe), work with User Stories, find and produce documentation (Experience how to operate with supporting tools Azure DevOps, Confluence)
• Contribute to the establishment of the data acquisition delivery plan
• Proven technical experience on Data Ingestion/Replication/Integration deliveries
• Experience using Azure technology stack
• Knowledge related to Requirements Management
• Experience from working in a global context
• Experience in Agile methodology
• Skilled in managing performance of 3rd party operations and resources
• Good understanding of data platforms, data ingestion replication patterns and market trends in those areas is added value
