Solution Center Volvo Trucks Retail
The Solution Center Volvo Trucks Retail has the responsibility to deliver and optimize IT solutions, thereby continuously improving digital channels, retail excellence, part sales and productivity in the daily operations of our dealers and customers. We enable a multitude of end-user services ranging from dealer management & productivity, e-commerce to platforms for digital channels (external web and extranet/portals). We our proud to further digitilize, connect and collaborate in order to deliver our services in close agile cooperation both within the Volvo Group and with our suppliers. The solutions in scope are led by the Volvo Trucks brand and are used by dealers and markets worldwide. Main locations of the team are Poland, India, China, France, United Kingdom and Sweden.


We are now looking for a Senior Delivery Leader for Retail Services
Retail Services in this Digital & IT context, is responsible for the global solutions dedicated to dealer productivity and management, such as planning, purchasing, vehicle administration and workshop order management. The team has the main responsibility of solution management (benchmarking, innovation and continuous improvement) and for some solutions we take care of onetime (cost, scope, quality) plus runtime deliveries (SLA fulfilment, cost, quality of service).

Position description
In this position you will be responsible for the deliveries of the Retail Services team, working closely with Volvo Trucks and potentially other brands, making sure we deliver customer value and meet KPIs and budgets at the same time. You will lead a team approximately 10-15 persons. This position is you work closely with Delivery/Line manager or Onsite Manager to secure capacity planning for delivery and to
prepare and follow-up IT budget for assigned solutions.


Required competencies
Strong retail business and delivery experience and/or clear priority to strive for delivering business value in our business operations
Experience from transformation and business driven
Good knowledge of the IT landscape within the retail and aftermarket domain, i.e. how different solutions interact on a higher level
Strong leadership skills and experience in managing deliveries, projects and people
Experience in managing end-to-end contracts including underpinning contracts with external suppliers
Relevant university degree
Excellent communication & presentation skills
Complete proficiency in English

You have a track-record of leadership competencies and you show strong customer focus in order to understand their needs and to build long-term relationships
You ensure accountability by taking personal responsibility as well as establishing processes and responsibilities etc for others.

You collaborate effectively in a multi-cultural environment, you build effective teams with shared goals and an open and trustful dialogue and you have the ability to create a fruitful mix of competencies and personalities.

Location: Flexible France or China


Travel required: Occasional
