Who you are

You are comfortable to drive large initiatives and escalations, including communication with senior management as well as technical problem resolution with multiple teams.

Background

Alfa Laval is currently on a digital transformation journey. As part of this transformation, we have created a global organization (100+ people) to update our digital product lifecycle management, configuration and supply chain capabilities to better fulfil our customer needs. We are setting ourselves up to work agile, based on the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) framework.

About the job

The job as a delivery manager is very much about safeguarding and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of our various PLM & CAD solutions. You will pro-actively work towards keeping our solution landscape updated, safe and clean. You will be responsible for developing and establishing improvements in our ways of working together with other teams, end users and stakeholders. You will be the main contact person towards our vendors and suppliers, in close co-operation with our group indirect procurement team, managing agreements and work orders for our licenses and services. You will also be the resource manager for our external consultants and contractors and you will be working closely together with delivery managers and other key roles within the three areas.

We have fifteen agile scrum teams who are responsible for development, maintenance and third line support. In addition, we have external partners who run second line support and monitoring. In your responsibility you will blend classic ITIL-based service delivery into modern DevOps in an efficient way.

Responsibilities:

Build up a good framework across our solution landscape to secure:
* Day-to-day service operations against agreed commitments and financial targets. 
* Monitor, coordinate and report on performance of solutions and initiatives. 
* Capacity and availability management. 
* Drive continuous improvements for the solutions within area of responsibility. 
* Incident- and Problem Management, ensuring that trends or underlying issues are proactively identified and resolved. 

What you know

Relevant academic background and extensive experience from IT best practice service delivery. Experience from agile methods is an advantage.
