This will be us - your new colleagues within Core Platform Area (CPA) Software & Diagnostics
Core Platform Area (CPA) Software & Diagnostics is a new function within Technology. It has the ambition to identify and execute on new digital initiatives supporting embedded software handling in tight collaboration with Trucks Divisions and Business Areas (TD/BAs) and Group Functions as well as modernize and transform our existing solutions into digital products.
Together with our digital talents, we will work on solution design and deliveries to improve business performance and create value at scale for Volvo Group. Included in our mission is to drive an efficient Group IT interface and Portfolio Management for the TD/BAs and Group Functions.

This is how you could make an impact
In this role you will have the responsibility of managing the Platform as Service team in Gothenburg, Sweden. This year the focus is to transform from legacy, monolith to platforms on which future services and solutions will be built at scale.
Part of your work is to set the vision and strategy of your delivery. Moreover, you will support the team to deliver value and together with other colleagues drive the transformation of the Software and Diagnostics platform domain.
In your role, you are adding value by developing high performing teams and building great collaboration with the stakeholders in your deliveries. In addition, you are driving the change management necessary to reach the transformation goals. This role includes line management responsibility and you will report to the Head of Platform as Services.
Your mission if you accept it:
Managing the IT solution design and delivery
Supporting different strategic initiatives in terms of team capacity and knowledge.
Securing product quality aligned with compliance, budget, and SLA in line with Volvo Group Business Critical application area
Accelerating the DevSecOps journey and continuously improving speed and agility
Drive continuous improvements in way of working towards a fully agile approach
Encouraging the team to embrace modern technologies, finding ways to utilize them for the best of the solution and Volvo Group.
