Our job is to supply the tools and services - the pots, pans, soups and sauces - they need to work better, faster and safer, leading to better patient outcomes.
We are now looking for a DeltaV engineer to work with our expert DeltaV team of 13 employees across the world. You will be based in Uppsala, Sweden and be a part of the automation section at CBS, the Customized Bioprocess Solution organization. If you have a passion for DeltaV, we would love to hear from you.
What you’ll do
Work independently and as part of a team to develop and implement DeltaV configuration, documentation and handle the verification on customer projects for the Cytiva Bioprocess systems.
Collaborate with local project teams to develop DeltaV code, documentation and verification documents.
Generate detailed requirements for automation projects, both internally and with external customers
Develop, review and approve design and test documentation.
Provide automation expertise to the project and automation team.
Ensure all automation systems are delivered and maintained in a compliant and qualified state.
Provide support for all validation activities.
Installation support on customer sites may occur which involve occasional travels to customer sites.

Who you are
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Automation or other technical degree
Minimum 5 years of technical experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical or equivalent automated process industries
Direct experience (3 or more years) and in-depth knowledge of the DeltaV process automation platform (Skilled in DeltaV standard and batch)
Experience at biotech/pharma commercial manufacturing facility in an automation role is highly desirable
Proven success working well in a team environment with flexibility to react to changing business needs
Comfortable with English as working language, both written and spoken
EU work permit
You have a genuine technical interest and strong problem solving skills in combination with a strong drive and customer focus
You are comfortable in working at a high pace and to deliver quality on short notice
Ability to develop simple approaches to solve complex design problems.
You have experience from working in a project driven organization and thrive in an environment that offers daily technical challenge
