Demand Planner

At IKEA of Sweden (IOS), in Älmhult, we create the global product range and steer our global purchasing based on our business idea to offer a wide range of well designed, functional home furnishing products at prices so low that as many people as possible will be able to afford them. The Demand Planner organisation is looking for people with a get-it-done attitude, a desire to challenge established working methods and a wish to be part of a fast-growing business.

Assignment
As a Demand Planner you act as the link between Commercial and Supply, turning in depth analysis of our sales history into an accurate forecast that is used to secure the availability of our products to our customers around the globe. In addition, being the Supply Organisation's speaking partner with Commercial, you turn global and national sales plans into product level forecasts. You will contribute in building a smarter, slimmer and more cost-effective supply chain, enabling availability at lowest cost.

Is this the challenge for you?
To be successful in this role we believe that you have;
- 2-3 years experience of relevant experience in a related role, ideally within the retail industry
- Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving approach
- Ability to work with a holistic perspective, from supplier to customer, as well as the capability to be in the fine details
- Excellent English communication skills
