Demand Planner

Key responsibilities:

For the European market, with location in Solna, Sweden, we are now looking for a Demand Planner reporting directly to the Finance Director. This is a temporary position (9 months) to cover parental leave with desired start date beginning of December 2020. There is a possibility that this role will transfer into a permeant position in the future. Your key responsibilities will be to support the European organization in achieving its financial and operational performance goals related to sales, inventory turnover. You will be responsible of maintaining optimal in-stock positions by SKU to be able to fulfil customer orders in a timely manner, by using consistent and uniform methods of planning and analytics.


Key tasks:


Lead forecasting process for European regions according to our corporate business calendar.
Manage all facets of demand plan in Pelyco (forecasting program), i.e. key user for Pelyco
Development of plans at product code level and by region, understanding the effects of the economy, market trends, turns and assortment planning. Take actions when needed to allocate volumes in situations of shortage.
Monthly rolling forecast
Coordinate with supply chain to ensure optimal sales, in-stock and turn metrics.
Develop and maintain relationships with product management, sales management, supply chain and external stakeholders.
Coordinate and align the forcast process with the head quarter located in Canada
Support general projects within the Operations department.


Your profile:

We are looking for a person with a University degree in a relevant field. You have at least two to three years of experience from a Demand Planning role, preferably from the retail\wholesale or similar industry. High-level IT skills, especially in excel, is important for this position. You are fluent in Swedish and English (written and spoken).




The ideal candidate is a good administrator with proven analytical skills and focus on details. You are customer focused team player and have good skills in problem solving. Strong interest in ice hockey and sports in general is an advantage.
