ABOUT THE JOB
As Demand Planner you will be driving the growth of Danone brands through providing accurate forecast as a part of our Nordic Supply Chain team. Our Supply Chain function consists of 20 employees based in Sweden and Finland and we are looking for someone to join our team in Stockholm.This is a position to grow into with great possibilities to increased responsibilities. As Demand Planner you are a part of Danone’s Essential Dairy and Plant-based division and you work in close co-operation with many internal and external stakeholders across our region.
You will report to Demand Planning Manager, who is also based at our Solna office in Sweden.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Manage forecast of dedicated brands both in the long and short term horizon in cooperation with Sales and Marketing.
Clean historical sales data from non-regular sales events in order to establish a baseline forecast for each sales item.
Collaborate with functions such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer service etc. through facilitating cross-functional meetings in order to gain consensus on forecast assumptions.
Analyse sales trends and integrate trends and future events (such as sales promotions and marketing events) into the forecast and continuously evaluate the result of sales promotions to ensure proper input is done on the promotion plan.
Collect and integrate into forecast product life cycle information (new product introduction, products cannibalization, end of life) including MasterData Maintenance (SAP APO, Essbase).
Report weekly and monthly estimated sales volumes to the organization and be able to comment on deviations vs plans.
Measure and manage the continuous improvement of forecast accuracy and take an active part in developing forecast methodology and tools.
ABOUT YOU
In order to be successful you need to have:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in economics, supply chain or equivalent.
2-3-year experience in a related business field, preferably in a similar position in an international environment.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, beneficial to have worked in Essbase or similar database solution as well as SAP/APO.
Excellent written and communicative skills in English. Swedish or other Scandinavian language is a merit.
Strong analytical understanding and decision-making skills combined with a positive can-do attitude.
Integrity as well as a team-player approach to drive development in a fast-moving environment.
