Are you passionate about paints & color? Are you process oriented, have an analytical mindset and loves challenges in all forms? Do you want to work in an international arena? Then you may be our new Demand Planner for Industrial Coating Wood EMEA!

What you will do?
As Demand Planner you will belong to our global team of two, whose role is to manage the forecasting process through the gathering and critiquing of data, to ensure customer requirements are accurately reflected in the forecast so that the correct business decisions are made. Your main responsibilities are:
• Drive effective and accurate forecasting with Sales (internal)
• Develop the team’s accurate forecasting via collaboration with Customers (external)
• Provide a long term view for the demand review over a 4 to 36 month time horizon
• Involve cross functional expertise to improve accuracy e.g. category
• To gather and interrogate data points to predict future demand requirements


You have great opportunities to contribute and influence your work, and there is much in-house to offer in AkzoNobel. This is a permanent position starting as soon as possible and is open where to be placed, where ever we have an office in Europe. You will report directly to Customer Demand Manager.


Who you are?
As a person you are highly analytical, confident with excellent communication skills at all levels. Also you have great networking skills with different stakeholders across several internal and external functions You thrive in an high pace international environment and have an easy time adapting to new situations that arise. You are in the right element when it comes to analyzing numbers and working with forecasts. In addition, we believe that you enjoy taking the initiative and performing high quality in what you deliver.

To be successful in this position it is preferable that you have a Bachelor Degree in Business or in Supply Chain Management. We would like you to have experience from a similar position as Demand Planner. In order for you to really thrive in this role, you need to feel confident working in different systems and feel comfortable working with both numbers and Excel. You have advanced skills in Excel and have extensive experience in managing various IT systems, we are using SAP, BI, MS Office and Teams, among others. Since you work in an international arena you must be fluent in English, written and spoken.
