Demand Planner

In your future role as demand planner, you will;
Create and monitor forecasts in planning systems for our Levasil Product line. This includes but is not limited to: ensuring accurate set-up and data integrity within system, reviewing exceptions, executing demand planning calendar tasks on time, lead and provide input on forecast related meetings, understand statistical modelling and how user input impacts the forecast, and review consumption trends and take corrective action/research.
Provide one point of contact for all forecasting-related questions from other functions and utilize troubleshooting skills to work with other functions to correct any issues.
Gather market intelligence from sales and marketing to incorporate into and adjust the baseline statistical forecast.
Proactively communicate known significant forecast changes on items to supply planners.
Work to close operational vs. financial forecast gaps.
Be the subject matter expert on your item-level data and forecasts.

We are looking for a Demand Planner to join our Planning Team. The primary focus of this role is maintaining optimal forecast accuracy to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. The Demand Planner will regularly interact with regional supply planners in your team, regional sales and customer service teams to meet strategic company goals. This role will also work with segment leads, finance, and sales to reach consensus on a demand plan, resolve demand-related questions by troubleshooting and working with other functions; drive improvement in forecast error by analyzing processes and making recommendations for improvement; drive tracking of performance of new opportunities.

We believe you bring
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Mathematics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline
Highly proficient in MS Office packages (Excel, Access; SharePoint)
Demonstrable capability to analyze data (including mass cross-reference data validation, trending and forecasting)
Experience with SAP (or equivalent ERP system), Business Warehouse (or equivalent data warehouse) or Arkieva (or equivalent advanced planning software) is preferred
APICS CPIM or CSCP is preferred



Who you are
To be successful in this position, we believe that you have excellent analytical skills, solid understanding of supply chain and business processes and the ability to prioritize and proactively complete projects with little direction. You also have strong communication- and English skills and are able to communicate with all functional levels.
The position is based in Gamlestaden (Gothenburg) but requires occasional travel. Approximately 10 % of you working time will be for regional & global travel.
