Demand Planner - consulting assignment

Poolia Ekonomi AB Presentation We are currently looking for a Demand Planner for a full-time consulting assignment with one of our clients. The duration of the assignment is set for early December to May 2010. You will be stationed at our client's offices in Solna. The requirements our client has provided us with are in English - therefore this advertisement is in English. Arbetsuppgifter Responsibilities You will: - have the ownership of the local monthly S&OP process (including financial roll up and management summary for local GM), in order to ensure an efficient and effective consensus planning process. - work closely with local sales, marketing and finance colleagues. This is to ensure that there is an excellent business input to the demand forecast for both base SKUs and customized in-store displays, but challenging assumptions through rigorous analysis. - provide support to local brand teams. This is to ensure that new product launches are planned accurately, and with all activity integrated into demand plans, all in a timely manner to support on-time delivery to trade. - drive improvements in local forecasting performance by reporting on forecast accuracy (MAPE/BIAS), identifying opportunities, implementing improvement plans and tracking results, with initiatives focused according to ABC classification - contribute to improving the Nordic forecast process and systems. - conduct monthly monitoring of trade inventory levels with key accounts - manage and report local KPIs. - liaise with supply-planning and hub colleagues, in order to communicate proactively to the local business on product availability and potential stock shortages. Utbildning/erfarenhet Qualifications You have a degree in economics or the equivalent, as well as a couple of years of experience of the above. You are a skilled user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel. We would like to see that you have either pharmaceutical or food industry experience of supply chain. You can use and understand ERP systems. You also have the ability to do analysis. It is a plus if you have experience of working in an English-language environment.
