Demand Planner to Henkel

We are currently looking for a Demand Planner to our customer Henkel Norden AB. This is a recruitment for an indefinite period with a six-month trial period starting April 1st. Henkel operates worldwide with leading innovations, brands and technologies in three business areas: Adhesive Technologies, Beauty Care and Laundry & Home Care.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Demand Planner you will be an active part of our diverse and multi-talented Nordic Supply Chain Team! The team is comprised of 20 people responsible for the three key functions of Demand Planning, Logistics, and Customer Service across 4 countries (Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Norway) and 2 Business Units: Beauty Care, and Laundry & Home Care. You will be a part of the Beauty Care team and your key accountabilities will be: 

• Develop superior demand plans in a dynamic market with most accurate sales forecasts, with consideration to historical sales data, and in close alignment with Sales and Marketing on business plans, promotional activities, business intelligence, etc.
• Identify potential gaps in the business plan and proactively define and implement countermeasures in order to achieve targets in sales, profitability, inventory, and cost.
• Ensure the right level of stock availability at the right time through close coordination with the Supply planning team and planning of the co-packing operation.
• Organize and manage monthly S&OP process and meetings.
• Ensure achievement of the relevant KPIs (Forecast Accuracy, Perfect Order, Inventory), via regular monitoring/analysis, indicating appropriate actions to meet objectives.
• Manage obsoletes & slow movers by developing corresponding action plan.
• Execute produce life-cycle management and new product introductions in close alignment with the Business.
• Drive initiatives that allow benefits in process efficiency, costs and/or sustainability under an entrepreneurial and strategic approach.
• Ensure regular reviews to manage and minimize the value of the slow movers and obsolete articles.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Bachelor´s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or similar (Master´s is a plus)
• Min. 2 years of relevant professional experience within the area of Supply Chain (within FMCG is a plus)
• Entrepreneurial mindset and self-driven, curious with a continuous learning mentality, and challenges the status quo.
• Digitally inclined, highly number driven & enjoying analytics
      - Advanced MS Excel skills, Power BI (SAP & APO DP knowledge is a plus)
• Strong problem solving, influencing & communication skills
• Passionate team player
• Fluent English language skills. (Finnish language is a plus)
• Holds good Financial & Business knowledge.
