ValueOne is recruiting two Demand Planners for the Haugen Group based in Järva krog north of Stockholm. The role

As a Demand Planner, you own and are responsible for the market demand planning process to always achieve the correct sales forecast. Your task is to continuously analyse and maintain forecasts, analyse forecast deviations, trends and historical campaigns and future campaign plans. You work in close collaboration with and run the S&OP process together with Marketing and Sales to be best in class on forecast accuracy. The role includes responsibility for developing processes and working methods as well as initiating and implementing continuous improvements. You report to the Head of Country Supply Chain.

Main tasks:

Creates statistical forecast by analysing and cleaning historical data and future orders.Leads the work of creating short- and long-term forecast by collaborating with sales & marketing and customers for input (e.g., promotions, pipeline, price changes, listings, de-listings, launches) to build a consensus forecast.Analyses relevant data sources to gain insight to help shape future demand forecast including special events, seasons etc. Delivers short- and long-term forecast to Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial and Suppliers to be used as base for further Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP). Ensures continuous improvement of the demand planning process and system.Monitors and analyses results/KPIs to take corrective action and ensures improvement.Sets models and parameters to optimise the demand planning process and results.Lead or participate in different projects.

Experience and competence

In order for you to be suitable for the role, we prefer that you have a master's degree in Supply Chain Management or similar, or alternatively corresponding knowledge acquired through work experience. The position also requires 2-3 years of experience in planning as well as solid knowledge of supply chain processes and supply chain costs. It is also important that you can understand and analyse cost drivers in the supply chain.  

Fluent knowledge of English and Swedish or any other Scandinavian language in speech and writing is a requirement as well as good computer skills. Experience of Dynamics AX and SO99 + is an advantage as well as an industry background within FMCG.

Your personal qualities are valuable to us. The role requires good analytical skills and focus on details. You will be two demand planners who work together, which is why the team spirit and ability to cooperate is important. The role also includes regular contacts with your Nordic colleagues. A certain sense of service, flexibility and diplomacy towards colleagues and suppliers is therefore important. You should also be used to giving presentations. Furthermore, we are happy to see that you are able to work independently and do not hesitate to make decisions. As a demand planner, you work proactively and ensure early involvement in the process. Doing the right thing from the start is a key word for you and you see continuous improvement as an obvious part of your work tasks.
