Demand Planning Manager - Ejendals

Since 1949, Ejendals in Leksand has supplied a large part of Swedish enterprise companies with protective gloves and shoes. A few years ago, we took a step to the European market and are now growing rapidly. Our business is continuously expanding, and we need to strengthen our organization with Demand Planning Managers.

Within the department Supply Chain Planning, we are looking for a two Demand Planning Managers. In this role you will, together with your team, support the Ejendals organization and manage the operational forecast of the company’s products. You will manage all demand planning related processes including leading the Sales & Operations Planning process to produce an unbiased forecast estimate for the overall business.
Main tasks will be:
Analyze sales data to accurately create statistical forecasts for all products and predict future demand.
Lead the Sales and Operations Planning process for your category and own the demand signal and information feeding and coming from the S&OP process.
Maintain demand planning systems and software (SAP Hana).
Put in place strong demand planning processes and drive continuous improvements of the same.
Own Demand Planning KPIs to drive forecast accuracy improvements and productivity.
Build technical capabilities for the team and for the total supply chain organization.
Provide input to long term production planning.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with key Stakeholders, such as sales, finance, head of supply chain, supply planners etc.


You will report to the Director Supply Chain Planning.
Education and Experience
Minimum a bachelor’s degree in business, logistics or finance
At least 3+ years of experience from related areas (demand planning, supply chain) in a relevant field
Wide knowledge from forecasting tools or other core Supply Chain systems such as SAP
Great communication skills and a high level of business acumen
Highly skilled in Excel
Experience from working with continuous improvements within Supply Chain is a plus
Fluent in English and Swedish, both speaking and writing
Experience from FMCG is a plus
You have an urge to want to learn as a team and adopt to a changing environment
