Currently, we are looking for a Demand Planning Manager to join BA KBA!
Job Description

Within IKEA of Sweden see an efficient and effective demand planning as a game-changing opportunity to achieve the right accuracy in planning at the right cost in our supply chain.
As Demand Planning Manager you will, among other tasks:
• Lead demand planning and a team of demand planners to achieve the right accuracy to agreed cost of planning.
• Be responsible to drive competence development towards a data driven and automated demand planning.
• Be accountable for demand planning accuracy (net and gross)
• Lead the team by example, coaching and motivating the co-workers.
• Be responsible for driving the competence agenda: Identify needs and gaps, building strong competence plans together with the co-workers to meet the short and long term business needs
• Contribute to development by appointing subject matter experts to the development and implementation of working methods and systems within the supplying process.
• Be responsible to secure and improve the handover from product development process (creating the offer) to Supplying process, in order to secure excellence in operations.
Qualifications
As a person, you have a strong passion to guide the organisation into the future, having a strong drive in the field of planning. You have leadership skills to lead business and people in a global assignment. You have the drive to develop your co-workers and yourself to deliver excellent results. You strive to obtain a good collaboration and interaction with a big number of various stakeholders cross Business Areas. Moreover, you have a desire to find new ways and make them happen through engaging and motivating people. You go the extra mile and find new solutions to enable IKEAs journey to become a true Multichannel Retailer.
To succeed in this role, we believe you have:
• High interest to take leadership to build the next generation demand planning function for IKEA
• Knowledge or willingness to learn how to apply advanced analytics for demand planning
• Knowledge of agile mind-set and ways of working
• A passion for planning and leading in a global assignment
• Strong leadership experience
• A academic degree within supply, economic, engineering or corresponding knowledge
• Knowledge of IKEA Business Area strategy & range
• Strong knowledge and understanding of supply chain and processes
• Knowledge of Sales Planning and Product development process
• The desire and capability to be a great communicator and by this build trust and relationships to handle multiple stakeholders in a global environment.
• Fluency in English.
