We are looking for a purpose-driven and passionate leader to join us on our journey, someone with confidence, a level head and a big chunk of humbleness. As Department Lead for Tech, you will be the bridge between technology and communication, both internal and external.
You’ll never need to go alone; we’re always in it #together. We work cross-skills in different client teams, and you will lead our Tech department and draw from the experience and skills of your colleagues within Comprend, H&H Group and beyond.
About the role
This role is senior, part of the Stockholm leadership team. This means you’ll be helping to shape the business, be expected to spot opportunities and trends and be an active part of customer development, sales and our pitching process.
You are responsible for recruiting, developing, and retaining our employees, shaping our offer, enhancing our processes, methods and ensuring our quality in everything we do. You will be the coach for new and existing colleagues within the Tech department, including managing salary reviews, development plans and goals and benefits.
In addition, you will naturally work closely with our clients (IT department, management team, communications department, process and product owners, steering groups, etc.) to understand and solve their challenges, keep them constantly at the forefront of technology while staying relevant to the people that matter to them.
It’s a broad role where you, based on knowledge of the clients’ conditions, infrastructure and business, have the ability to make technical strategies, evaluations and recommendations of various alternatives, planning of environments, process and flow descriptions and requirements.
You are responsible for the whole, i.e. the collaboration of the various systems in a more comprehensive perspective, where it is also important to raise the gaze outside ongoing projects and specific solutions.
About you and your experience
- You most likely come from a technical background, as a programmer who has moved on to a wider scope, including both software architecture as well as the non-technical aspects such as team coaching and creating organisational structures.
- A love for coaching and developing others, always giving back
- A consultant and a true advisor at heart, always responsive to the clients’ needs
- Broad and deep technical knowledge and understanding for the digital transformations impact on client’s business and their whole ecosystem.
- A growth mindset, daring to challenge conventions
- Always learning and creating an environment of psychological safety for others
Qualifications
Overall
- Significant (min 5+ years) industry experience and to build great solutions in cross-skills team
- Proven strategic and tactical experience in digital assignment for global clients (from both a technical and business perspective)
- Strong technical depth and evidence of insight gathering, analysis and taking this through to concepts, technical strategies and recommendation and implementation.
- Proven experience as a leader and manager
- Confident in leading workshops and projects with large and senior stakeholder groups on an international level.
- Agile way of working
- Experience with budget management and planning
- Engaging communication skills
- Fluent in Swedish and English and comfortable with client meetings in both languages.

We work in cross-functional teams in a hybrid world, ie we combine working together in our offices or other physical meeting places with remote work. As Department Lead for Tech we want you to be able to visit our head office in Stockholm for meetings, on-site work and other gatherings on a regular basis.
