What’s in it for you?
In Connected Experience our purpose is to develop and deliver Infotainment, Connectivity and Cloud Platform and world-class digital user experience, and also Complete Vehicle Diagnostics system and E2E platform for diagnostic monitoring & vehicle data collection.

We are looking for a Department Manager for our new department Car Cloud Platform and Remote functions. This department will be responsible for our Car Cloud solution as well as Remote functions such as Digital Key, Approach and Mobile App car library. Realization and product development is done across several platforms like cloud, telematic unit in the car as well as mobile platform. You will be part of Connected Experience leadership team and will have an important role in our ability to deliver as a Solution.

We are looking for a passionate Leader that can coach and lead our department together with our Agile and Technical Leaders to deliver great products and further develop a great working environment for our teams.  

We use modern tools and agile methods to create business value continuously. We ensure high quality and adaptability in our development and delivery. Of course, we have a lot of fun together while doing it.

What you’ll do
You’ll help the engineers in your department by removing obstacles and helping them to grow. You’ll contribute to agile ways of working, through technical leadership and close collaboration with Team Managers, Agile and Technical Leaders. You are a person that have adopted a lean agile mind-set, applied a servant leadership, have good communication skills and collaborate well.

The team’s tasks will span all the way from early concepts to rolling out large-scale and high-quality products. You will work with teams across the company, across the globe, across many functions, such as user experience, product management, and business development, and with external companies.

You and your skills
We are looking for an experienced software engineering manager, who have previously built and led software engineering teams or department. You have experience in people management, cross-functional collaboration, large-scale system design, and hands-on software development as well as a strong sense of business. You also have proven ability to drive changes in a large scale organization and understands the value of continuous improvement. You probably have a degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. We believe you are a great listener, curious and a visible leader. You challenge established ‘truths’ and believe in working through empowerment and recognition.

You have proven ability to move swiftly between managing both the strategic and hands-on work. You have the ability to energize an organization and act as a role model for our culture by showing trust and integrity.

It is also important that you are continuously developing your own skills and guide and coach your department to continuously develop theirs.
