Description:

We are looking for a new leader of the SW Security department within Software Development Europe. As Department Manager you are responsible for roughly 80 people. You will directly report to the Head of Software Development Europe.

You are a strong and communicative leader that continuously coach and develop the members of your team. Your main objective is to ensure that the SW Security team delivers with quality and time to market.



Key responsibilities:

. Maintain a customer first mindset.

. Contribute to the overall strategy development for the Software Development Europe organization. Develop and implement a strategy on department level, set goals for the department and ensure their achievement.

. Acknowledge internal resource requests and assess SW project plans regarding milestones and project goals.

. Develop and maintain individual and organizational development plans.

. Drive technical innovation and roadmap.

. Perform lessons learned and analyze market feedback.

. Secure code maintainability.

. Salary setting, budgeting cost control for the department.

. Manage short- and long term risks.





Experience and competencies:

. Demonstrated managerial experience and a strong driver in building, developing and managing highly effective management and engineering teams. Ability to manage a multi-tasking and agile development organization.

. Experience working in a product-focused company in a role delivering value to both internal and external customers. Ability to prioritize to maximize business value.

. Excellent communicator with the ability to minimize misunderstandings through proactive communication.

. Act as coach and mentor and have a strong mindset of leading by example and show courage.
