What are we doing?
The Seats department is part of Vehicle Tophat, we consist of 5 groups with approximately 80 people who are responsible for developing mechanical hardware, electronics, software, and functions for our world-leading seats.
What do we offer? 
We are now looking for a Department Program Manager (DPM) who wants to join us in our exciting journey to develop and keep our strong position in developing our seats products. If you have good leadership, and collaboration skills and enjoy leading high-focus tasks please read on!
What you’ll do
As DPM you will be the driver for the department deliverables and releases and the main interface to stakeholders with regards to delivery status and report our project status to the Unit Program Manager (UPM) at Vehicle Tophat.The location for this position is Gothenburg.
 You will be responsible for:
* All deliveries/releases with regards to time and cost within content
* To create and maintain an execution/release plan 
* For the status reporting of your scope
* Plan and synchronize deliveries cross-functionally
* Support in financial decision-making in the Department 
* Help manage and reduce risks and dependencies
* Solve, escalate and track impediments
* Provide input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks
* Work with Department management, architects, Technology Manager and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment.

 You will work in a prestigeless environment focusing on what´s best for the company and the department deliveries.

Do you fit the profile? 
We are looking for an experienced and senior technical leader with good leadership and collaboration skills. We believe you have a Master of Science degree or equivalent relevant work experience. Experience from working aboard is a merit. You have good experience in seat development, good knowledge of VPDS (Volvo, Product, Development, System), and experience as Group Design Leader (GDL) at Seats or other Interior areas at Volvo Cars is meritorious.
 To succeed in this role, there is an advantage if you have a passion for leading projects and collaboration with a high level of engagement and strong enthusiasm.
 You work with a team-oriented approach and a supporting leadership style. You recognize the benefits of working together and towards common goals.
You should be fluent in English.
