About us
We are now looking for an experienced Department Program Manager (DPM) to join our Safety Crashworthiness team.
As DPM you will be the main responsible to secure high Safety standard for our cars. Having set the safety requirement for the program, your responsibility will then be to make sure the final product will meet these requirements. This expands over the entire development phase from PSF to J1. As DPM you are vital in supporting the design departments in the safety related work by creating an understanding of the prerequisites needed to secure the targeted safety performance. You collaborate with attribute Technology and Engineering managers to assist with decision-making regarding consistent technical choices.

What you will do
* Guiding the Base Product development and the design departments in the concept choice process
* Create and maintain an Analysis & verification plan and the lead the teams in performing analysis
* Balancing the product to achieve the desired overall Safety standard
* Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively
* Be the main Safety contact person towards the program and internally at Safety Centre


You and your skills
As Department Program Manager you need to be analytical and manage complexity, be able to understand complex, high quantity and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems. You have a strategic mindset, see the big
picture and can set a clear strategy for your area of responsibility. Concerning the ability to tackle difficult issues, you show courage and clearly communicate the need for changes and improvements with an encouraging approach.
You are curious, actively, and continuously searching for new ways to grow and be challenged in developing yourself! We like a hands-on approach to problems - learning by doing! You are inclusive, communicative, team oriented and customer focused.

* Experience in the product development and/or attribute analysis
* Good insight in the car development process according to VPDS
* Ability to handle high level of uncertainty and complexity
* Have an analytical mindset and ability to manage complexity, be able to understand complex, high quantity and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems and take decisions.
* Have a strategic mindset, see the big picture and be able to set a clear strategy for your area of responsibility.

Meritorious:
* M.SC or higher level of education
* Leadership experience
* Experience in safety analysis in programs and/or requirements and methods
* Experience from Hardware or Software engineering.
* Safety knowledge
