The Departmental IT Coordinator is part of the Nordic Infrastructure Services Organisation.This department delivers Infrastructure Services (computers, networks, telecoms, support) through standard ITIL based processes, 3rd party organizations, as well as regional resources. For Unilever Stockholm we are currently recruiting a DITC.The DITC for Sweden performs an important controlling and administrative task in assuring IT Service Requests are channeled through the proper support systems, and timely executed.Also the DITC will be involved in the financial support for the Infrastructure Organisation.The DITC for Sweden will work closely with DITCs in other Nordic countries to assure a standard and well defined process throughout the Nordics, and supports the deployment of increased self-serviceability towards the end-users and managers. This position, at the front-line between business and IT, requires excellent communications skills, as well as a very pro-active, process based, and accurate way of working. This function offers a great potential for personal development and growth in a large global company.This position reports directly into the Nordic Infrastructure Service Manager, with close interaction with the local IT Business Partner(s), and may involve limited traveling MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS Tasks: .Assurance of execution of Service Requests for local users, with follow-up, through use of several request systems .Act as a local point-of-contact for Service and Support Requests .Provide financial administrative support to the Nordic Infrastructure organization .Support process standardization through the Nordics .Assure proper support to Unilever business functions by seeking continuous improvements and new solutions .Support new and/or existing projects JOB REQUIREMENTS Skills: .Experienced user of MS Office applications Excel and Word .Understanding of IT Infrastructure and computer terminology .Excellent communication skills .Willingness to learn to use and understand new applications that are key to the DITC .Fluent in Swedish and English both written and spoken .Understanding of ITIL processes is preferred but not mandatory .Ability to work in an multi-cultural and multi-national environment .University education or equivalent experience EMPLOYMENT Contract: This position will be offered as a one year contract, with good possibilities to transition to a permanent contract.
