Deployment Manager for Financial Services IT

Team description

Financial Services IT is a part of the Digital Core Department at IT and its responsibility is to provide sustainable IT solutions and innovative IT expertise within the Financial Services area, thus one of our group’s primary purpose is together with FS to harmonize the global IT landscape.

And how we do that?

We want to bring you and some other awesome new IT colleagues to our new group to support the transformation of our high performance agile teams that consist of architects, developers, service managers and some other stars that makes this constellation pretty special.

The ultimate goal is of course to have happy users within all SFS communities who can use the power of software and data to make better decisions.

Profile

We strongly believe you are an excellent Deployment lead who can coordinate deployment in our different development, test and production environments. It can be new versions, hotfixes, configurations, plugins or refreshes of data.

We also think that you are excellent at communicating with different types of people. We believe you are self-confident and that you are not afraid to question us and the organization. By being fearless, you also lead by example in creating and keeping an exploratory work environment where we all feel free to try new things. You have the ability to lead and guide your colleagues in the right direction, you have a deep and analytical problem-solving skill. Being a good communicator and working proactively are key in this role.

Since we are providing Financial services to the Scania Markets through the delivery of different ERP systems, we want someone with a creative and agile mind to help us improve our ways of working together with our IT organization and all stakeholders.

Responsibilities


• Secure the global and extended resources needed as part of the cut over and later Hype care.
• Lead and coordinate a global teamwork to set up the current solution for the onboarding markets
• Coordinate and plan the releases together with the Technical Product Owners and Initiatives leads according to the Development/ Release Processes.
• Lead and coordinate a global team to pulse the work, secure alignment to prioritize and report progress and escalation to CCB
• Lead, plan and coordinate the cut over activities to Go Live.
• Handle incidents and problems around the services. You will also help out prioritizing the support teams’ backlog.
• Drive improvements to the cutover plan and its activities, all according to our Development and Release processes

Basic Qualifications


• ITIL/ Service Management
• Scrum Master
• Project Management skills
• Jira1. 8 or more years working with IT, preferably with experience in deployment and release management.  
• Good knowledge and understanding of development processes.
• Experience of understanding business requirements and working with key business and technology stakeholders
• Good understanding of architecture and infrastructure components
• Experience planning the development and delivery of complex software products
