Deployment Specialist D365 to Alfa Laval in Lund

We’re looking for a passionate Deployment Specialist D365 to support in the rollout of our new ERP solution, which together with our solutions for Product and Configuration management, the Trinity, builds a solid base for our Digital transformation. So, what are you going to do today?

Value Stream Trinity
Alfa Laval is currently on a Digital transformation journey. As part of this transformation, we have created an organization with the purpose of owning and upgrade our digital product lifecycle management (PLM), Configuration and Order flow (COF) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) capabilities. It is an organization of about 140 people, and we call it the Trinity Value Stream.

Trinity is an organization where Business and IT work hand in hand supporting Alfa Laval´s Business Units in building Reliable Product Information, connecting Products, Factories and Customers.

We are applying the scaled agile framework (SAFe) to structure our deliveries. Within the SCM domain, we are responsible for the development and maintenance of our Manufacturing ERP solutions (both new and legacy systems), the roll out of our target Microsoft D365 F&O solution and the support of live sites.

We are now recruiting a Deployment Specialist D365 with a focus on solution implementations (rollout D365 to manufacturing units globally).

Main responsibilities
In your role as Deployment Specialist D365 you will participate in all phases related to the rollouts - mobilization, pre-study, and realization of Microsoft D365 F&O. You will be working tightly with a dedicated roll-out team for a product group together with local project members from the business on the receiving sites. In your job you will also have a close collaboration with Agile teams responsible for template and capability development.

We encourage job rotations so there are also possibilities over time to move between Agile development teams, rollouts and supporting our live sites. Our multiyear ERP roadmap has just started!

The position is based in Lund, Sweden

Key responsibilities:

- · Functional training of Key Users on the manufacturing units
- · System configuration, test management,
- · Identify functional GAPs
- · User Acceptance testing
- · Support trainers with documentation and expertise
- · Cut-over activities
- · Communicate with stakeholders in line with overall decided structure, templates, engagement- and governance models.

Who are you?
You have an open mindset and a passion for delivering value in a global context. You are working in a similar role or as a business analyst, ERP functional consultant or a key/super user within plan/make/deliver/source or warehouse. You could also have a background as an ERP developer and want to move closer to solution implementation.

What you know
You bring solid experience from the ERP functional field or rollouts in a global context.


- You have a broad knowledge of the ERP domain

- 5+ years proven record of similar role within ERP, preferable D365 / AX 2012 on an enterprise scale.

- In depth understanding of business processes within manufacturing.

- Understanding interacting in cross business functions in an international and cross-cultural environment.

- Strong communication and presentation skills and fluent in English.

- Curiosity to try new things to continuously find improvements.

- Industry experience

- Project Management experience and/or Agile methods and tools is a plus
