Deputy Business Navigation Manager
IKEA Retail Services AB, Helsingborg
By using your understanding of the IKEA range, Growing IKEA Together, common directions and the commercial plans, your main assignment is to work closely with the rest of the Business Navigation team, the country Business Navigation teams and different functions in Retail Services to steer towards growth, optimal performance and sustained long term profitability.
You will:
Contribute to the development of common working methods and tools for retail Business Navigation. Motivate, support and challenge the countries to bring about constant improvement and learning?s between stores/countries and functions.
Support the competence development agenda within Business Navigation through contribution
in training programs, commercial reviews and coaching.
Actively participate and contribute in analysing the total retail result and evaluate risks and opportunities in connection to Bi-monthly forecasting.
Work together with Group Business Navigation and Business Navigation colleagues from other functions and core areas in order to evaluate business opportunities cross IKEA .
Inspire, support and challenge process owners and colleagues in different functions in Retail Services to identify and evaluate business opportunities (business case thinking), improve ways of working, simplify and improve cost efficiency.
Provide Business Navigation support to other functions within Retail Services through involvement in projects and other initiatives.
Your knowledge, skills and experience includes:
Strong interest in leadership and several years of management and leadership experience within IKEA retail with proven communication skills.
Experience of adapting to different styles of working to bring out the best of the people from different countries and business teams
Interest and capability to develop people
In-depth knowledge of the IKEA Concept Description including our Vision and Business Idea, our Culture and Values, the Diamond and how we create our business advantages
Ability to develop overall directions, providing frames and follow up performance
Ability to engage a receiver by creating a passion for our plans and inspire others to see possibilities
Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English both verbally and in writing
And, of course, you will need to share and demonstrate the IKEA values and have a genuine interest in home furnishing.
Application
The position is full-time, 40h/week and based in Helsingborg. The office will move to Malmö during autumn 2015. The position will require travelling equivalent to 25-40 days/year.
