Are you passionate about accounting and digitalization and are looking for the next professional step in a global environment, you might be our new deputy Chief Accountant / Financial Controller for Volvo Buses.
Our position
The current Chief Accountant for Volvo Buses will join an exciting project on an estimated 70-80% of the time. We are now looking for a deputy who together with the Financial Controller for Volvo Buses can share both Chief Accountant tasks and Financial Controller tasks. This role offered is therefore a combination of Chief Accountant and Financial Controller responsibility and tasks.
You will have shared responsibility with the FCA Buses team for the accounting records and accuracy in close collaboration with your colleagues in Accounting Services in Poland and India responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial reporting. You will ensure completion of all statutory and compliance reporting and secure an overall alignment of operational results and business decisions. You will provide internal and external parties with accurate and timely legal entity financial information, and drive efficiency and effectiveness for the legal accounting flow through digitalization. In your role you will also act as the bridge between the legal and consolidated reporting. You will report to FCA Director Volvo Buses.
You will be joining a team with highly skilled colleagues with a positive and forward-leaning attitude. The job involves working in close collaboration with other Chief Accountants, Financial Controllers, Business Controllers, and other functions within Volvo Group which will give you a broad and valuable operation and business understanding. Based on this, you will have the opportunity to work with and learn more about additional areas of expertise which will enable you to build a great network within Volvo Group and Volvo Buses.

Qualifications
University degree in Business Administration or similar education and minimum 2-3 years of experience in the field of accounting
Good knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP
Fluent in written and spoken Swedish and English
Skills in Volvo Group's financial system, SAP R/3, Essbase, Microsoft Office and Power BI are considered an advantage
