Our position
As deputy Chief Accountant, you will collaborate with chief accountant and take on some of the responsibilities connected to the role. The responsibility includes wide range of accounting activities including participation in monthly closings activities as well as support our business with accounting questions. You will provide internal and external parties with accurate and timely legal entity financial information.
Main part of your role will be an important key in the Elvira project for Volvo Powertrain AB. In this role you will interact with financial and business control, group accounting, accounting services, IT and more. This to secure a correct setup and transfer into the new Master Finance platform which will enhance the reporting and follow up possibilities. The work will increase your knowledge about the business, structures, and reporting. Your understanding in feeder systems and generated transactions will give you deeper understanding of Volvo Powertrains business model, and you will get a broader end to end perspective and get a lot of new contacts and interfaces.
You will report to FCA Director GTO/GTP.
You will be joining a team with highly skilled colleagues with a positive and forward-leaning attitude. The job involves working in close collaboration with other Chief Accountants, Financial Controllers, Business Controllers, and other functions within Volvo Group which will give you a broad and valuable operation and business understanding. Based on this, you will have the opportunity to work with and learn more about additional areas of expertise which will enable you to build a great network within Volvo Group.

Qualifications
University degree in Business Administration or similar education and minimum of five years of advanced experience
Fluent in written and spoken Swedish and English
Experience in VGCS, SAP R/3, Essbase, Microsoft Office and Power BI are considered an advantage.
